Settlers of Catan
A modern classic of resource management and trading. Build roads, settlements and cities while negotiating trades with your opponents to become the dominant civilization on the island of Catan.
Rules
Players collect resources (wood, brick, sheep, wheat, ore) based on dice rolls and settlement placement. Resources are spent to build roads, settlements and cities, each worth victory points. The first player to reach 10 victory points wins. Trading with other players and the bank is central to the strategy.
How to Play
1. Set up the hex board and place starting settlements/roads.
2. On your turn, roll two dice - matching hexes produce resources for adjacent settlements.
3. Trade resources with other players or the bank.
4. Spend resources to build roads, settlements, cities or buy development cards.
5. Track victory points; first to 10 wins immediately.
